OTHER 2011 TOURNAMENTS
(Note -- updates noted in red)

NCGA Tournament  Qualifying  from our Associate club:  You must be a member of the NCGA through our club.  When qualifying you must play USGA golf rules, and will be paired when possible with others trying to qualify.

Four Person Team (Associate Club championship):    Qualifying 4/4 at Boundary Oak.  NCGA  qualifying on  5/25  or 6/8.  NCGA  sectional qualifying on  7/18 or 7/19.  Finals  on  8/29-8/30.  If your index is 18.4 or greater, you must compete at 18.4.

Two Person Team (Associate Club Four-Ball Net Championship):  Qualifying 2/22 at Brentwood.  NCGA qualifying on  4/7.  Finals on  5/9-5/10.  If your index is 18.4 or greater, you must compete at 18.4.

Senior Two Person Team (Senior Four-Ball Net Championship):  Qualifying 6/13 at Boundary Oak.  NCGA qualifying on  8/3.  Finals on  9/12-13.  If your index is 18.4 or greater, you must compete at 18.4.  You are a senior if you are 55 by June 17^th of 2011.

Individual (Associate Club Net Amateur Championship):  Qualifying 7/6 at Boundary Oak.  NCGA  qualifying  on 9/8.  Finals  on  10/3-10/4.  Any  index. 

AREA 2 SIR EVENTS

Governor’s Cup: Qualifying for our club 3/28 at Lone Tree and 4/4 at Boundary Oak. Best net score of the two days, adjusted to difficulty. Finals are Thursday 4/28 at Lone Tree. Total net of all 8 players count. Two players from each of the following index ranges: 0-17, 17.1-22, 22.1-27, and 27 & up.

Poppy Hills Qualifier (State Individual Championship): NCGA members through our SIR club may enter the Area qualifying round Thursday 7/15 (8:00 a.m.) at Franklin Canyon. There are seven index flights. Division qualifying is scheduled for 8/31 at Boundary Oak. State final at Poppy Hills is October 18. A day of open play is also available.

State Team Scramble: Our branch can have as many four person scramble teams as we wish for the Area qualifying on Thursday 5/26 at Diablo Creek (7:30 a.m.). Teams are made up of four persons, one from each of the following index ranges: 0-15, 15.1-20, 20.1-25.9, and 26 and up. Qualifiers will play next in the State Final, slated for August 8th at Sevillano Links in Corning.
