The SIR Area 2 Computer and Technology (CAT) group is provided for the participation of members and guests of the seven Area 2 SIR Branches:  Mt. Diablo Branch 8, John Muir Branch 19, Rossmoor Branch 81, Las Trampas Branch 116, Pleasant Hill Branch 146, and Lamorinda Branches 171 and 174.

Meetings of the Group are held the 3rd Thursday of each month (except June and December) from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the Walnut Creek Elks Club located at 1475 Creekside Drive in Walnut Creek, just off South Main (click for map).

We cover all types of consumer technology with subjects ranging from PC desktops, Laptops, Digital Photography, Genealogy and more.  All SIR members and their guests are invited to attend these informative sessions.  We always have fresh coffee and cookies for all attendees.  All meetings are free but we do collect voluntary contributions from time to tome to help pay for the rental of the hall and refreshments.
